First and foremost Pathways For You detected very early on my child was displaying traits and had special educational needs (SEN). As the parent I was in denial and failed to realise what the professional had spotted. I was just thinking that my child was just fine. As time went on my child’s school also detected SEN and particular traits, again denial and fear crept in, thinking my child would be labelled. Soon after another conversation arose with pathways in more depth about my child.
